So, this is the year of the Boar/ Pig/ Hog/ Swine... Porcine... what does it mean? Above are a few links that may or may not shed light on this subject.

Suffice it to say that it is the end of a cycle, which always has portent... so it should be an extra extra extra special year for whatever it signifies.

The Chinese New Year officially begins on Feb. 18th this year, so enjoy your last remaining gasps of the year of the dog.
